In line with the vision and missions of the University of Bahrain (UoB) and those of its Quality Assurance and Accreditation Centre (QAAC) and in alignment with the National Qualifications Framework, the Quality Assurance Office at the College of Arts, being one of the oldest and most serving college, plays a strategic role in the development, monitoring and dissemination of quality across the College to ensure that all its five prominent departments (Departments of Arabic and Islamic Studies, English Language and Literature, Social Sciences, Psychology, and Mass Communication, Tourism and Arts) providing 14 undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes are at an elevated status. The QAO aims to serve the University’s vision of becoming a pre-eminent body in the fields of higher education and research by promoting and implementing quality-oriented strategic developments within sustainable quality assurance frameworks and procedures.
